Those of you with pets...?

how many dog/cat hairs do you think you inhale or eat in a year? I have 2 dogs and just found a black springer spaniel hair in my leftover pheasant stir fry from last night's supper. I caught this one but how many do you suspect get missed along the way?

I dont know but Im scared to think about it. I have 3 dogs, a collie, a lab and a beagle, my main problem is the cats we have. Everytime my wife empties out the vacuum cleaner it is caked with hair. Yuk.

That's up there with dried skin flakes, dust and other "Fun" stuff .... I'm afraid more gets missed than I wanna know about.

Jesus, I can't even begin to imagine, nor do I want to. We bought a golden retriever at the beginning of this year and it opened a whole new door on what actual shedding means to me!

LMAO!I think I ate a lot of dog and cat hairs-especially in the period when they changed their coat with the winter one!

Funny, I was just thinking about this the other day when I found a German Shepard hair in my cereal. I have 2 dogs, and I imagine that I inhale or eat their hair on a regular basis. Makes me kinda sick.

More than I ever want to know!!! My dog sleeps on the bed with us, so I know there is dog hair there that is breathed in during the night. Fortunately, she doesn't come around the kitchen much. So, what if you find a hair in your food, don't you just love 'em anyway !!

I have 2 short hair cats but for 10 months had my nephews long hair cat. Hair everywhere!!

Can't even imagine how many hairs we have inhaled/eaten. Maybe the holiday baking is not such a great idea after all.

wow that's scary, I never even thought about it. I have a Golden and a dachshund, they both shed my little doxy leaves alot of little black hair the front of my shirt, my Golden as you know has her moments I still wouldn't trade them for anything in the world! I love them! Even worse how many spiders do you eat a year? Now that's gross! I would take dog hairs any day!

My sister in law has 2 golden Retrievers and a large open beamed ceiling house. When the sun shines through the large high windows you can see thousands of fine hairs floating just like dust particles.

My Ridgeback doesn't shed much but I couldn't live without her even if she did.
