I really really REALLY want a dog but my dad and my sister and bro have allergies!

anyone know of dogs that have hair instead of fur?

besides a bishon frise...

If someone is allergic to dogs, forget it. There is no such thing as a hypoallergenic dog.

No dog is completly hypoallergenic but these breed are less likely to induce an allergic reaction.

The Basinji is a good breed for those people who suffer from allergies. They are also great for those families with small children and newborns because they are not a breed that barks alot. Infact although they can make some certian sounds Basinjis cannot bark. If I didnt have pit bulls I would consider a basinji myself as I am know my neighbors are not always overly found of my dogs when they start barking at 1:00 in the morning

My father %26amp; brother have really really bad asthma as well as tons of allergies - but my dad has had 2 Lhasa Apso's and both he %26amp; my bro had no reactions to it.. but my dad did keep him very clean (took him to a groomer once a month - and kept their hair pretty short, with just a long tail, ears n feet - they were both really cute!
