I've just started seeing this guy (about 3 weeks ago) and I sleep over his place often. He has a dog and its adorable. The only problem is his bed is always COVERED in the dog's hair- its gets all over my clothes big time and I have to lint-roll the s**t out of them when I get home.
Would it be really rude of me to ask him if he could maybe vacume his bed or somthing before I spend the night at his place? it makes me sneeze sometimes

If you can pull it off, humour might work. "Hey! I noticed that Fido's been here before I was! Mind if we get it clean before we get it dirty?" (Yes, lame joke, I know. But hopefully, you catch my drift.) People are extremely sensitive about their companion animals, and can take any sort of mention of the problems that come along with having companions to be an insult or attack on said companions.
The other option might be to simply mention in passing that you've noticed that you're getting minor (and stress that it's minor) reactions to the dog hair (sneezing, slightly itchy throat), and that you'd really appreciate it if he could just give the bed (and just the bed) a once over with the dust buster. And of course you have to mention, many times, that you love both him and his pooch.

If you don't want dog hair on your clothes, don't sit on my couch, bed, chairs, floor....love my 2 goldens. Deal, toots. Three weeks, huh, and your "sleeping over", you sure held out for a long time. I'm thinking first date.

I wouldn't tell him your allergic to the dog he might break up with u. after all dog's man's best freind. I would just tell him to change his bedding. i don't think that's rude. or help him do it. or u do it.

instead of abruptly saying vacumm your bed. try making it seem needed than wanted. does make sense. for instance try saying that you think you may have an allergy to dog because the other night when you stayed, the next mornig once you got home your allergies started flaring up. and he will feel obligated(of should feel obligated) to make you more comfortable. or you guys could just have a big laundry day and wash his sheets. or you could buy him new sheets as a "gift" or you make "make sexy" as borat says and "kick the sheets off the bed" in the act. and have you ever thiought why not just have him stay at your house. another thing you could do is... if you and your guy are close for 3 weeks how open are you with each other you could just simply ask him most of the time guys are oblivious to what you really think about that kind of stuff any ways.

If you just started seeing this guy three weeks ago, what are you doing sleeping at his place.???????

If you aren't comfortable enough to talk to this guy about pet hair then why are you comfortable enough to sleep with him? Seems like you skipped a couple key steps in the whole dating scheme.
You are supposed to get to know him first and be able to talk to him about things - then sleep with him - not the other way around...

if you like the dog and the only problem is the hair, maybe he can try something i do to avoid excessive cat hair on the bed.when i'm not in the bed,i cover it with 3 big beach towels so the hair stays on the towels rather than get on the sheets and blankets.it's easy to whip them off when it's time to get into bed,and they're easier to wash than a whole comforter.it's really cut down on the fur.
