if i shave my dog's hair all off will it make him sick?
I want to know?
No it won't make him sick. But why do you want to shave your dogs fur? When it is very hot in the summer it is good to shave some of the fur to make your dog more comfortable. But not all of it. In the winter your dog will become cold and then will be subject to becoming sick. Also they can become sunburned too. It will be better to take your dog to the groomers and take their advice before doing anything to your dog.

Depends, what kind of dog do you have?
I want to know?
No, But make sure to keep him inside if it is cold in your area. Dogs are used to the insulating properities of having a lot of hair and it will be quite a shot for him when you shave him. You might even consider getting him a sweater if it is really cold in your area.
I want to know?
No it will not make him sick. However, dogs sweat through their paws, so shaving them really has no benefits except keeping them neat and tidy.
I want to know?
No, but you will have to make him walk backwards!
I want to know?
No it will not make your dog sick. Unless its very cold where you are then if you dog gets to cold it might get sick. But it wont get sick because its hair is gone. Although, depending on the age, if it still has its puppy fur I would not suggest it. If you shave a puppy's baby fur off its adult hair wont come in right. But after the dog has its adult hair you can shave it without any problems. Many people shave their dogs. More so in the summer because long haired dogs get very hot.
I want to know?
It could but not normally. If you live in a cold climate, you'll need to dress em to go out. Inside you need to have a place for em to keep warm. You didn't say what breed.
I want to know?
It shouldn't make him sick! But check w/ a vet first just to be sure!!
What kind of dog is it what breed?
I want to know?
Not sick but you need to be aware that some breeds of dog should not be shaved (i.e. collies) because their skin cannot handle direct exposure to sun (think about your worst sunburn ever and then imagine twenty times worse). It never hurts to check with you vet or groomer the first time.
I want to know?
ok besides the sunburn and the cold issues you also need to keep in mind some breeds the males will actually act as though they are ashamed ... it can be shocking to lose what you are most proud of ... as far as shaving puppy fur ok sorry but that is incorrect .. many breeds such as poodles the "puppy fur" is shaved it will nto effect how the adult fur comes in .. some breeds do need their hair cut as we have bred them for ongoing hair growth but most breeds have what they need and there is no reason to shave them
