They sell special shampoo for white dogs. You can find it at petsmart or other animal superstore. Also, the have a product for tear stains. This will work on other places as well, not just around the eyes.

Might try water with a little lemon juice mixed in. This may help bleach the hair back to the color.

Peroxide... careful not to get into eyes... apple cider vinigar... and try to figure out whats causing the stains... fleas? Allergies? PH imbalance? Sometimes changing too a higher quality food will help, or stop staining.

Good Luck!

Cut or shave off the fur... only feed dog dry food.. and wipe mouth after meals.

We own 2 Bichon Frise and this is a big problem for us. We use Bio-groom shampoo for white dogs, but this has not taken care of the problem. We found what looks like a promising solution though. Mix equal amounts of ORIGINAL milk of magnesia and hydrogen peroxide. thicken to a paste with corn starch. work it into the stained area and leave on for 4 hours. comb or wash out. do this for 3 days, then repeat every 2 or 3 days until the stain is gone. We saw results after the first treatment. Use care not to get it into the eyes or inside the mouth as hydrogen peroxide will make the dog throw up.
