I never go anywhere and have not used anyones brush or anything.... My dog had fleas but I took him to the groomers and got him flea med and totally cleaned the house.... But my head is still iching like crazy what could this be???

If you got a bite, it could be fleabite dermatitis, but fleas don't inhabit humans like they do dogs (it's not like lice). Maybe you had an allergic reaction to the stuff the groomer put on the dog, or to another flea killer you used in the house. Or you could have psoriasis or dry scalp or a number of other things (or headlice).

I hope they put frontline on your dog, and not some awful chemical flea dip!!

However, you're in luck because the treatment for both pests is the same. Clean your entire house (any where that the dog goes). Fleas don't live on your dog but in the soft surfaces of your home. Your curtains, your couch, your carpet, the dogs bed, your pillows and blankets if the dog is even allowed in your room. Wash them all. Treat your head as though you have lice if it continues to itch. Keep your hair very clean. Neither lice or fleas like clean hair.

it may well be fleas or could be lice. or your just thinking to much of the crawling and jumping fleas. get a nit comb from your local chemist, condition your hair and go thru the whole of your hair with the nit comb it will pick up fleas and lice if there is any, if there is see if its a flea or lice and take the nessesery action.

I don't think fleas go for your hair. They can bite you anywhere on your body. usually your lower legs since that is the part of your body closest to the floor. You itchy scalp is something else. Maybe you have headlice, Maybe you're just feeling buggy. ask a healthcare professional, not us.
