She looks like shes got some kind of pitt bull in her due to the wrinkles on her head, the nose looks german shepard.. aw crap, she looks alot like my friends dog and I can't remember what hers is.. Looks like she has some boxer in her too but the ears are really throwing me off.

Wow ... that is soooooo .... I don't know what it is! It's a mix, for sure. Looks like maybe part Pit, but I can't say. Is it a pup? If so, you might have a better idea once she reaches her full size. Till then, just love her and train her well. You may never know what she is, but with love and patience, she can surely be a wonderful dog. Good Luck!

I'd agree with the basenji... as for the other part... probably a terrier of some sort? there isn't a whole lot to go on. The basenji has the tank body and narrow head but the tail is usually curly. I'm at a loss for the other breed. Not staffie or pit though.. the legs are too fine boned and skinny but the dog's too large for rat or parson's terrior. He's a bit leggy like a short haired pointer or spaniel and that would also give you the straightened tail. If he's not full grown that'd be my guess: basenji/pointer mix but if that's his adult size then I'm not sure.

She actually looks a little like the dog I adopted from the Humane Society shelter where I'm a volunteer. He's much bigger now that he's almost a year old, but when he was a puppy he looked like that (except his fur is red, not brown and black). Is she still a puppy, or is she full grown? That's important to know when trying to figure out what kind of dog she is, because I'd need to know whether she's finished growing.

This is my Alex: http://i16.tinypic.com/6aetfa1.jpg He's got a lot of hound in him, and he probably weighs about 60lbs now. He also has some sort of bully breed or boxer somewhere along the way.

The brown and black coloring is called "brindle", and it's found mostly in bully breed dogs, Boxers, and Great Danes. From the shape of your dog's head and mouth, I'd say she probably has some sort of bulldog in her. It reminds me of a bull terrier, but most likely it would be Pit Bull. That's not uncommon in shelter dogs. About 90% of our dogs at the shelter have at least a bit of Pit in them.

From looking at the dog's ears, it looks like it has quite a bit of some sort of Terrier in it, too. The ears are very tall and perky, which reminds me of a Boston Terrier. This would also explain the long muzzle.

The legs are almost hound-like, but they're well-muscled, which would also suggest bully breed.

Without knowing whether or not she's full grown, it's kind of hard to say for sure what else she might have in her.

The body structure says "basenji" to me, the face says both basenji and pittie. Does she bark?
