OH NO! Lol.. Pom baths are tough.. I wouldn't suggest the blowdryer, as it scares 'em half to death!
I would suggest hairball removing shampoo for starters *with the hairballs*
As for the drying thing, towel-dry, then talk to her for awhile and soooth her, then slowly sit on the blowdryer and turn it on low. Slowly take it out from under you. NEVER point it at her face-first. Start from the bottom, then make your way up..
I know, it doesn't sound fast.. But the whole thing can be done within 15 mins..

They have dog dryers that attach to the dog's crate. I usually just let me dog air dry, but I think the hair dryer is probably fastest.
If you're using a human hair dryer, try to keep your other hand close to the dog's body. That way you can know when it's getting too hot and either switch to cooler air or give it a rest.
I think hair balls are just one of the perils of owning dogs. Sounds like you're doing great by brushing her every day. One thought: I hear that the FURminator is great for keeping shedding hair under control. They're somewhat expensive so I've never had one but everyone I've talked to praises them highly. http://www.furminator.com/

Your Pomeranian is just going to take a lot of work grooming her. You need to brush her dry, as I guess you must be doing already. This will remove much of the dead hair and tangles. Are you certain you have the correct type of brush for her coat? When bathing her, use a good dog cream rinse too.

I have two pomeranians!!! For some reason I don't have much hair around my hosue, only slight shedding (like a couple pieces of hair) when the weather changes. But I bathe my dogs often like twice a month, sometimes more, and I use a blowdryer. I have a good blowdryer with a difuser on it, I put it on medium heat so I don't burn the dog or dry out their skin. It works fast and they don't mind it at all. I think shedding has a lot to do with nutrition, I feed my dogs royal canine, and there are sprays you can get that help reduce shedding (the sprays you spray on their food, but they are mostly vitamins and flax seed oils) I add a squirt of flax seed oil onto their food about once a week and my dogs have very shiny and soft coats with very little shedding. I only brush out my dogs about twice a week. Hope this helps!!!

Make sure you are feeding her a good quality dog food. This will make a great significance the shedding. Look for a food that has no corn, wheat or soy. After 1 month of feeding Solid Gold Dog Food to my dog, the shedding almost completely stopped!

Fastest way I've found to dry a dog is to put your blow dryer (keeping it moving to prevent burning) in one hand and a dry towel in the other instead of a brush.
When the towel gets damp, I use a fresh one. For a small dog, two fluffy hand towels should do the trick. The towel also provides a nice massage.
For hair balls, I like the vacuum cleaner. I use the thin attachment for the hose and I also use it to vacuum up the hair in the brush. I also dampen some paper towels to pick up hairs on the floor when it's not worth getting the vacuum out.
